Cornwall- A County of Contrasts In the centre high moorland, granite tors, dotted with villages each with their own church. Along the coast, wooded river valleys, natural harbours, a maritime history, fishing villages, bustling market towns, surf beaches, a rich mining heritage, and a mild climate too. In the far West of Cornwall is Lands End, buffeted by Atlantic gales in winter, with views to the Scillies Isles on a clear day.
